The congress Venue

The congress will take place at Hotel Napoca

The congress will take place at Hotel Napoca, a well-established conference and accommodation venue located in the central area of Cluj-Napoca. The hotel is known for its long-standing experience in hosting national and international scientific meetings, offering a professional and efficient environment suited to high-level academic exchange.

The congress facilities include a large, well-equipped conference hall and several breakout rooms, allowing for plenary sessions, parallel lectures, workshops, and industry exhibitions to be conducted seamlessly within the same venue. The technical infrastructure supports modern audiovisual requirements, ensuring optimal conditions for scientific presentations and interactive discussions.

Comfort, Sustainability, and Wellbeing

Hotel Napoca provides a comfortable and functional setting designed to support attendee wellbeing throughout the congress. Spacious interiors, natural light in common areas, and quiet surroundings contribute to a focused yet pleasant atmosphere. The venue emphasizes efficient space use and responsible operational practices, aligning with contemporary expectations for sustainable event organization.

Catering and Dining

On-site catering services offer a range of menus tailored for congress participants, including balanced and diverse meal options suitable for full scientific days. Coffee breaks, lunches, and social dinners are facilitating networking and informal professional exchange in a relaxed setting.

Accessibility

Hotel Napoca benefits from a central location with excellent accessibility. It is within walking distance of the workshop location and Cluj-Napoca’s historic city center, major hotels, green areas, and cultural landmarks. The venue is easily reached from Cluj-Napoca International Airport and the main railway station via public transport or taxi, ensuring convenient access.

Workshops & Welcome Cocktail

Hands-on workshops and the opening cocktail will take place at University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine Cluj-Napoca (USAMV)—a long-standing academic institution with a strong European profile in veterinary education and research, with the only equine referral hospital in the country!

Gala Dinner

The congress gala dinner will be held in the former Casino building in Central Park, an elegant historic venue located in the heart of the city’s green axis. The space combines architectural heritage with a relaxed, refined atmosphere. It is designed for conversation rather than ceremony, and for colleagues rather than crowds.

A Special Note for Residents

In addition to the main scientific programme, residents will have access to a surprise resilience workshop. This session is designed specifically for early-career specialists, addressing professional pressure, and long-term career balance—because excellence in internal medicine also requires resilience. This workshop will require hiking boots and warm clothes, as well as an appetite for adventure!

We are thrilled to welcome you in Cluj-Napoca, in a congress environment that is European in spirit, academic in substance, and  human in scale, a place to think clearly, debate rigorously, and reconnect with colleagues beyond the lecture hall. We hope it will be a place where European equine internal medicine can advance decisively, where science truly meets legend.
